Foamiran Purple Roses

Magnolia-licious Foamiran Wednesday

Foamiran Purple Rose

Hello!   Today I am back with you with Foamiran Wednesday on Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog where we try to inspire you with some foamiran projects. I have for you Purple Roses, I have made a video, my very first one, but unfortunately I could not/ did not know how to load but I will keep trying!   I made these roses with lilac and dark green foamiran from Magnoliastamps.us and I also used some gorgeous purple glitter stamens. The dies I used are Whimsy Stamps Rose Petals Die Set for the petals and leaves. I used Whimsy Stamps Lily Die Set for the sepals/calyx. The petals have been blended with Memento Luxe Elderberry and the leaves with some reds. Oil pastels are brilliant for colouring and blending on foamiran too.

Products used from Magnoliastamps.us  are -

Lilac and Green Foamiran
Glitter Stamens

I hope you like my roses and give Foamiran a try if you have not tried it before.

Alice In Wonderland Tilda

It's Always tea time

Hello Crafters!

This is a rather different style of card to my usual fully loaded ones 😉 For the first time I tried the no line technique colouring Alice In Wonderland Tilda ( from the latest Pop-Up Box 4 ) and I was quite pleased with it ( I wanted to try it for ages and now I have tried it , I will definitely be choosing this technique)

Okay, for the base card I used the frame die from VintageBox1 and made an easel card. Instead of using designer papers matt and layer for the front of the card (watercolour cardstock), I used Distress Oxides - Broken China, Amber, Worn Lipstick, Fired Brick, then I stamped the Aces Cards, Checkered Background randomly and the Clock Face in the centre, these stamps are also from the Pop-Up Box 4

I stamped more Aces Cards, Hearts in red archival and Spades in Black Archival and cut them out and used little foam pads to stick them on the ones stamped on the background slightly offsetting them. I embossing the large clock chipboard with Frantage and it is so perfect size that the stamped clock was showing. I die-cut the clock hands (these dies came with the Pop-Up Box 4, too) and I put a touch of antique wax. Tilda was cut out by hand and using foam pads and stuck on the front of the clock. Last but not least, metal key, mirror, stop-clock to finish off this topper.

For the easel part, I used the LDRS Winnie Tea Time paper and stamped the sentiment from the Pop-Up Box 4 and die-cut it with the smallest of the Doohickey Vintage Photo Dies. Oh! the lace and the little Rabbit (it wouldn't be Alice in Wonderland without the Rabiit, right? lol) came from the box too!

The Teacup and saucer, 'Trumpet' are from Doohickey Kit 14

Well, I hope you like this card and would love to hear your comments. Thank you for visiting, hope to see you again soon 😀
